Fred Hoffman has a long and distinguished career as an Executive Project Architect. His professional
experience in all phases of architecture, both domestic and international, in commercial, institutional
and residential real estate developments. His diverse architectural background includes planning,
design, production coordination and construction administration for high-rise condominiums, hotel
complexes, shopping centers, office buildings, medical facilities, aerospace structures and industrial
facilities. His many responsibilities have included design, budgets, schedules, directing architectural
production personnel, and managing and coordinating consultants.
Mr. Hoffman has been associated with major architectural firms such as Daniel, Mann, Johnson & Mendenhall, Archisystems International, and HNTB (Howard, Needles, Tammen & Bergendoff) among others and has been an independent consultant on projects for the counties of Los Angeles and Ventura. During his association with major international firms, he successfully concluded the administration of several hotels of various sizes, such as the Double Tree Convention Hotel in Santa Clara, the Dana Point Resort Hotel, the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Long Beach, the Double Tree Suites Hotel, and the Santa Monica Shore Hotel in Santa Monica. Currently, Fred Hoffman Architecture provides planning and design services for commercial and residential projects of all sizes. Mr. Hoffman's approach to his successful practice is to coordinate with small teams of experts appropriate to each venture. This way, control over the building process can be maximized, while working with outside consultants for engineering and specialties. He is committed to personally serving the client, and encourages client participation as a vital part of the creative process throughout the development. He strives to unite design concepts, functional requirements and financial considerations to derive successful project conclusions. Because of his practice in Southern California, Fred has become expert in designing hillside structures. The firm frequently presents projects before the Mulholland Design Review Board and boasts an impressive 100% approval of their designs. |
